ABOUT MY WORKS
My works express the excitement and order in life through color and geometric structure. I like to use some inconspicuous things in daily life, such as going to the toilet, buying groceries, etc., to make people think more deeply. Thinking and contemplation can happen in the mind at any time, and the experience that these daily and extraordinary elements bring to the eyes and transmitted to the brain is pleasant. This is what I hope to explore in art.
ABOUT ME LIFE
I spent my childhood in Shanghai, China. Because it was a boarding school, I rarely went home to live with my parents. So I was very curious about the daily life with my parents. When I was 16 years old, I went to Rhode Island to start my high school life. I lived in a host family with an American guardian. I had a certain understanding of American culture, and that’s when I fell in love with painting. Art filled my life until I went to college and majored in fine art. I was still curious about the daily life of my parents, and I fantasized about it with myself. I didn’t want to let myself be alone, so I created This series of works.
